A temporary installation as part of a residency Atelier Nord’s ANX in Oslo, Norway, silant.counter.repetition is a video and sound sculpture consisting of two projectors and 24 transparent screens. The screens were positioned so as to create a diamond like shape when viewed from the sides and a the illusion of a tunnel of light when viewed from the ends, each instance of the image getting progressively larger…
“On the model can be shown various simulations (nightlife, sun and shadow, etc.), and also information (use zones, green areas, transport etc.) . Not only this installation is controlled interactivly by an ipad, but the whole space, which includes 44 dimmable dali lamps, 6 DMX lamps, 9 beamers, a touchscreen and the audio system.”

A Resonating Canvas is an interactive sound installation artwork. In an attempt to explore how to visualize something as visually imperceptible as sound, we exploit the attractive nature of the visual, to invite the audience to experience sound through a visual medium, while encouraging social interaction. A glitchy and haunting expression appears through remediation of sound.
This is also one of two projects I’ve been working on this semester at Digital Design. Hope you like it – and feel free to comment…
The installation is designed together with:
