Next week I’m going to hear about Troika at the danish architecture center. A talk I’m very much looking forward to. This is their resent installation called ’Thixotropes’. It is a kinetic sculpture that is comprised of a series of eight illuminated mechanised structures, each of them shaped as a composition of intersecting angular and geometric forms that are made of thin tensed steel banding lined with rows of LED’s.
“On the model can be shown various simulations (nightlife, sun and shadow, etc.), and also information (use zones, green areas, transport etc.) . Not only this installation is controlled interactivly by an ipad, but the whole space, which includes 44 dimmable dali lamps, 6 DMX lamps, 9 beamers, a touchscreen and the audio system.”
Awesome!! Project Page..

Danish based company specialized in digital and interactive architecture. Oh.. right up my alley! Take a look at their website at Kollision.
This is a sealing they made for the danish Saxo Bank.

Created by Diana Lange is this little sound experiment using Processing. Each circle stands for a certain position in the audio’s FFT data… Beautiful!

Made by the great United Visual Artists. The installation has all the hallmarks of the UVA style – immersive, layered and beautiful – with different areas representing the arctic through the ages, clever voiceovers and interactive elements which visitors use ultraviolet torches to move, illuminate and destroy…
