For the last three days I have been deep in the woods with my band Everybody Loves Drums. We have been working on new songs and trying so see how ideas would come along and evolve when we got inspiration from other things than our usual base back in Aarhus. A Resonating Canvas is an interactive sound installation artwork. In an attempt to explore how to visualize something as visually imperceptible as sound, we exploit the attractive nature of the visual, to invite the audience to experience sound through a visual medium, while encouraging social interaction. A glitchy and haunting expression appears through remediation of sound.

This is also one of two projects I’ve been working on this semester at Digital Design. Hope you like it – and feel free to comment…
